I’ve been here twice. I moved to IB from east county so I’ve tried to find a closer place for a haircut. I went to a more high end place in east county. I went to Salon 1500 before it closed and avia at Grossmont mall off and on for years. At first I thought they cut too much off (both times, actually), But once I got used to the haircuts I like them more than what I had before. I just had to figure out how to do it. But I don’t see anything wrong with the haircuts at all and I had a pleasant experience. I will go back.

While the Salon itself is old and not necessarily a sight to see… We decided to give it a try anyway since it is close to home and we were taking our 2nd grader during half time of the Army-Navy football game. We got Lisa- and she is a total gem! She was so wonderful with our daughter. She made her feel really special. She was upbeat and genuinely laughed and talked with our little girl. My daughter loved the experienced, loved Lisa and loved her wash & trim. We will be going back here every time for her trims, etc!

I’ve been having the owner Lisa cut my hair for years. Haven’t had a bad haircut yet and always like the end result. She’s open to all my whims when I want to change the color or the style — right now I’m on a mission to grow it into a bob so frequent haircuts will be needed.
